Rural Infrastructures: Ebonyi State Government Approves three major construction projects
The document which was spotted by our correspondent was dated the 8th day of October, 2024 which clearly captured the said road while as well directing the state Council for Pubic Procurement to advertise the project to enable the interested and qualified construction companies to place their bids according to the law.
The road which includes:
- The 45m three-Span Akadoro bridge in Alubeleke, Ezza North Local Government Area.
- 4km Amaeke-Ike River road in Isiagu, Ivo Local Government Area.
- 45m Amaeke bridge with 2 box culverts also in Isiagu, Ivo Local Government Area and
- 4km Road Ekwetekwe/Ogbuinya Umuezeoka Road in Ezza North Local Government Area.
The road projects are one of the many construction works being awarded by the State Government to ensure rural development and ease of mobility within the rural communities in accordance with the government's rural infrastructural development visions.
Remember that since inauguration as the 6th Domocratically elected governor of the State, The Governor, His Excellency Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has engaged in so many developmental projects which span around manpower development, business empowerments, local and abroad scholarship grants to over 500 indigent students of the state. These have earned him the title "Builder" which is always prefixed to his name.
Earlier this week, the governor announced his plan to revamp the state stadium and complete a purchase of a new football team that will enable the State field in a sports team in the forthcoming Nigeria Football League Competition. This was also in accordance with his views to foster sports development and youth empowerment.
The Ebonyi State pipe production factory has also been completed and ready to take off operations in order to enhance local contents and in lines with His industrialization agenda.
