Viral Video: Woman arrested over child abuse and physical assault on a minor

Police have confirmed the arrest of a woman identified as Ihsanatu Shaaibu over a viral video where a minor was physically abused with grievous injury inflicted .

According to a post made on the Nigerian Police's official Facebook page, E-signed by Force Public Relation Officer,  ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, FPRO, the abused minor was identified as Fa'iza Bala who was listed as 5 years old stepdaughter of  the suspect. Arrest was made on Thursday 9th January, 2025 while investigation into the incidence have commenced; prosecution to follow immediately investigation is concluded.

The FPRO promised to keep the general public abreast of the proceedings and any other developments with regards to the case.

Anglia Ruskin University Welcomes the Ebonyi State Government sponsored students.

The management of Anglia Ruskin University has confirmed the arrival of the sponsored students from Ebonyi, State Nigeria. In a post made on the university's Facebook page, it was stated that the students have arrived the university and they have been able to meet with the faculty members including their head of school.  The post reads:  "Today we were delighted to welcome our sponsored students from Ebonyi, Nigeria to our Cambridge campus.
